Leamington Restaurant gains Michelin recognition!

Oscar’s French bistro and steakhouse in Chandos Street, Leamington, has been listed in the world famous Michelin Guide and is the only restaurant in Leamington Spa to have achieved this accolade.

Family owned Bistro, Oscar’s, has been owned by Aubrey Allen and run by Pascal Caulle for the last 15 years.

Michelin Guide inspectors described Oscar’s as a ‘friendly French bistro with two rustic rooms downstairs and a third above. There’s a buzzy atmosphere, especially on the good value ‘Auberge’ nights, and the classic Gallic dishes are truly satisfying’.

Russell Allen, owner, said “All we ever want to do at Oscars is cook really great food that people always enjoy and offer them warm hospitality with some good value wines that they may not find elsewhere. It is fantastic to gain this recognition and wonderful that so many people support us as an independent restaurant. Pascal is great with our guests and we have a young chef Max who is so passionate about using the best ingredients.”

Oscar’s will be celebrating this fantastic achievement as well as their 15th anniversary with customers, suppliers and staff in the New Year.
