Bar + Block in Leamington Spa launches Summer + Music

Eat with a beat as steakhouse Bar + Block in Leamington Spa launches Summer + Music, an exciting series of live performances from acclaimed musicians, taking place throughout the summer. Launching on Thursday 22nd July, the restaurant and bar will transform into a buzzing music nirvana, hosting a roster of talented musicians every Thursday and Sunday, all paired with Bar + Block’s signature food and drink menus which are sure to hit all the right notes.
In association with local music promoter Brumbeat, a series of eight local musicians and songwriters will take to the stage for live acoustic performances at Bar + Block every Thursday evening from 8pm to 10.15pm, and Sundays from 4pm-6pm. The talented line-up will include the award-winning Ben Drummond, who has supported the likes of Bryan Adams and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the smooth country pop sound of Dan Roberts from the band Grafton Ash and the acoustic stylings of Joe’s Jukebox, from pop singer and songwriter Joe Dolman.
On the launch of the music nights, B+B Brand Manager Susan Pollard comments “We’re really excited to bring a strong programme of music to this beautiful bar and restaurant. Leamington is fabulous community and as a local myself, I’m really pleased to be able to showcase great, homegrown musical talent to our diners.”
General Manager Julia Williams says “It’s felt like a long year for everyone, and this is what we all deserve – great, quality live music with some tasty nibbles and glass of wine. It promises to be a great summer of music, and the team are thrilled to welcome the guests and performers alike to Bar + Block.”
Getting the party started, delight in a mix of contemporary covers and classics, plus some of the artist’s original songs, and enjoy the spirit of summer with tipples from Bar + Block’s extensive list – from wines and craft ales to creative cocktails.
Watch the musicians in action with a drink in hand, and dive into a menu of quality steaks, drool-worthy burgers and a host of grills, salads, sensational sides and sharing grazing plates.
Sundays will take a more chilled beat, offering the perfect destination to unwind for the weekend with a pint or glass of wine, and tuck into The Sunday Best roast, where you can choose from sliced rump or half a chicken served with Yorkies and all the trimmings.
With live music running from 22nd July to 29th August, what better way to enjoy the summer than with great food, drinks, live music, and a whole heap of fun. Make sure to book your front row seat, with the full line-up of performances below.
