New steakhouse bringing 35 jobs to Leamington Spa after £500,000 investment

Middletons Steakhouse & Grill has brought £500,000 investment to Leamington Spa as it prepares to open a restaurant in the town.

The growing steakhouse chain will begin welcoming customers from Monday February 21 after purchasing the vacant Gusto site – closed since March 2020 – in Regent Court, Livery Street.

Its arrival will bring a mix of around 35 full and part-time jobs to the area and continues the company’s impressive growth plans.

“We’re so excited to bring Middletons to Leamington Spa,” said Stephen Hutton, managing director of Middletons Steakhouse & Grill.

“It’s a beautiful town and has a thriving dining scene that we wanted to be part of. It aids our expansion plans across the Midlands and we can’t wait to open our doors later this month.

“We’re extremely confident that our quality food and drink at affordable prices, including our great value-for-money set menus, will prove as popular in Leamington Spa as they have elsewhere in the east of England.”

Middletons opened its first restaurant in 2011 near King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and now has nine locations on its portfolio.

Leamington’s newest eatery will offer a menu that includes a range of prime steaks, a signature mixed grill, seafood and vegetarian options, as well as freshly-made classic desserts.

The restaurant, which also has an outside dining area, can seat approximately 190 guests and will mark its move into Warwickshire by offering 50% off food for its first 11 days of soft-openings.
